Coffee cups are available in a wide range of sizes, from small cups that hold a single shot of espresso to large cups that hold lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos, and other water and milk-based coffee drinks. Normally, there are five sizes of disposable coffee cups as below:.
4 oz. Coffee Paper Cups
The smallest disposable coffee cups are usually four-ounce cups. Espresso-based drinks such as espresso macchiato are typically served in these cups. Having a sufficient amount of these cups on hand in your coffee shop can help you avoid using up all of your disposable coffee cups on smaller servings of espresso.
Small coffee cups are ideal for espresso shots, but they can also be used as sample cups, letting customers try out different coffee blends, brews, and other options before settling on what to buy.
8 oz. Coffee Paper Cups
Small coffee servings are typically served in eight-ounce coffee cups. These cups are the industry standard for serving small coffee drinks. If you offer small, medium, and large sizes, you might choose these cups for your “small” option.
These cups are constructed to hold a small to mid-sized Americano, latte, cappuccino, or other water or milk-based coffee without becoming weakened due to heat. They weigh eight ounces and are therefore large enough to hold a variety of hot beverages.
10 and 12 oz. Coffee Paper Cups
These cups are an excellent upsell choice for your mid-sized servings, as they provide a little more room than our eight-ounce cups. 11 and 13-ounce cups are mid-sized, making them an excellent option.
The 10- and 12-ounce sizes are slightly different in design and dimensions. The 10-ounce cups are shorter and have a wider circumference. The 12-ounce cups have a slimmer, taller design and are therefore ideal for lattes and cappuccinos with a lot of milk foam.
16 and 20 oz. Coffee Paper Cups
Are you looking for disposable coffee cups in 16 and 20-ounce sizes? Our cups are perfect for serving as a “large” or “extra large” serving size and can accommodate as much as two cups of coffee.
These large disposable cups are great as optional upsells for customers who really need a large jolt of caffeine in the morning, as well as those who prefer their coffee on the large side.
These disposable cups are designed with a tall, slender shape, similar to our smaller coffee cups. Their large capacity is compensated for by their small circumference, allowing them to still fit inside most vehicle cup holders for extra convenience.
Single-layer PE paper cups are used for hot drinks, whilst plastic ones are employed for cold ones, including iced coffees, blended coffee drinks, and smoothies.
You should have both PE paper cups, which can safely hold hot coffee without weakening or warping, and plastic cups, which are suitable for cold beverages if your coffee shop serves both hot and cold drinks.
